3rd International Colloquium

on

Integrated Manufacture by Printing

 

14th and 15th April 2008, Gregynog, Newtown, Powys. SY16 3PW

 

Call for papers

Papers are invited for the Third International Colloquium on Integrated Manufacture by Printing, to be held at Gregynog in Mid Wales, sponsored by the EPSRC IMP Network, UKDL KTN and the Institute of Physics. The colloquium is to aimed at those working in the exciting field of printing for device manufacture. It will provide an opportunity to network, informally present recent and in-progress work together with discussions on topics where more understanding and research is required.  Potential areas of interest include:

 

·        Flexible electronics

·        Displays

·        Lighting

·        Sensors  

·        Biomedical application

·        Biotechnology

·        Materials technology.

·        Process modelling

 

This is not meant to be an exhaustive list but a guide to possible sessions.

 

Location

Gregynog is a large period manor house set in 750 acres of beautiful park, woodland and farmland, providing a spectacular yet relaxing backdrop to the Colloquium. The event will be held over a two-day period and will follow an informal presentation and discussion program.

Call for Papers

To qualify for the speaker rates, extended abstracts of two pages (up to 500 words including figures) are invited.  Abstracts should be submitted by 29th February 2008. Papers will be selected for oral presentation on the basis of the extended abstracts.  The remainder will be invited to be prepared as poster. All the abstracts will be included in a booklet provided to each delegate. A CD of presentation in pdf will be sent to each delegate following the event.

Accommodation

Please note that accommodation is included in the cost on a first come basis as there are only a limited number of rooms available.  There are, a range of hotels available in the surrounding area, typically within a radius of 10 miles. The event is non-profit making and administrative costs are absorbed by the sponsors.

 

Fees

The registration fee includes refreshments, lunch on both days, dinner and one nights accommodation on the evening of the 14th for early registrants.
